| In April 2007,
Binus & Garrett Limited completes its 40th year of service
as Canadian Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders and Consultants
on a “nationwide” basis. This event was celebrated by clients and staff with an "Open House" on May 3rd, 2007.
Founded
in 1967 at Orillia, Ontario, Canada - and serving only local
importers at that time – Binus & Garrett Limited
has since expanded its business to serve multi-national
accounts in Canada and the United States.

In
the earlier years, when Canada Customs was present in many
inland locations, Binus & Garrett Limited maintained
Branch Offices in Midland and Orillia, Ontario. Due to restructuring
of Canada Customs’ service points, Barrie became a
“hub” in the late 1990’s. As a result, Binus
& Garrett centralized its operations by making Barrie
its Head Office.
The original founder, Mr. Horst
Binus, still serves as President and CEO, heading a team
of qualified and dedicated professionals that serves our
national and international clients
